Year 12 Electronic Engineering Taster Days

Throughout the year we hold Taster Days specifically for Year 12 students considering applying to study Electronic Engineering at university.

The days include a taster lecture, workshops, an interactive careers session, plus information about the university application process.

Activities

This free online app by Autodesk can be used for designing 3d models, electronic circuits and code. Just sign in, open the ‘learn’ link, and select one of the many tutorials available under the ‘3d’, ‘circuits’ or ‘code’ sections.

This is an interactive lab session “Hear here”, aptly named as it provides a way to create sounds here on your computer that you can then hear allowing you to explore aspects of your hearing!
