    Your experience

University is a place where you can develop the whole you, both in work and play. Exploring new interests, developing fresh skills and enjoying an active social life are important parts of being a student, and you don’t have to live on campus to get involved.

Going to university is exciting but, especially after the last couple of years, can feel like a daunting transition. As a friendly and caring community, we’re here to help you be the best you possible. Support is there in whatever aspect of your life you need it, to help you thrive.

    Your future career

We'll prepare you for the modern workforce as a priority from day one. Our focus on employability will support you to identify and articulate the skills and achievements you gain through your course and other activities as you prepare for graduate employment.

From the day you arrive, and for two years after you graduate, you’ll be able to access our Careers Service, where you can find practical support like CV and job application checks and book one-to-one appointments to help you plan out and fulfil your career goals. We run regular careers and part-time jobs fairs to find new opportunities and arrange talks by speakers from a range of industries, where you can find out exactly what employers are looking for.
