Day at the museum

Brooklands Museum in Weybridge held an innovation day for Year 8 students and their teachers with talks, workshops, and a careers fair.

Professor Stefanie Gerke and Sofya Yatsyna run fun filled workshops at the Innovation Academy at Brooklands museum. The academy attracted hundreds of students from local schools to participate in workshops run by McLaren, the NHS, Brooklands Forensic and others. The workshops were followed by a careers fair.  The aim of the workshop was to interest students in STEM subjects and judging from the buzzing atmosphere and the feedback the day was a rounding success.
