Royal Holloway, University of London, has risen five places in the last year to 23 in The CompleteUniversityGuide.co.uk 2020 University League Tables.
TheCompleteUniversityGuide.co.uk university rankings are independent and internationally respected league and subject tables. The league table is based on performance measures including student satisfaction, research quality and entry standards.
Professor Paul Layzell, Principal of Royal Holloway, said: “We are delighted that we have again improved our position in this league table and are now one of the UK’s top 25 universities. In the last two years, Royal Holloway has risen more than ten places in TheCompleteUniversityGuide.co.uk, progress that reflects our commitment to our students and the quality of the education we offer here at Royal Holloway.
“As a research-intensive university, operating across science, the arts, management, economics and law, our purpose is to advance knowledge and we are continually investing to help our students succeed and achieve their goals.
“This spring we opened our new world-class electronic nanofabrication facility called SuperFab as well as our new state-of-the-art science building, the Beatrice Shilling Building. We were also recently awarded £6.7m of investment from the Arts and Humanities Research Council’s Creative Industries Clusters Programme to tackle next-generation storytelling and we continue to invest in world leading research.”
This is the second league table to rank Royal Holloway within the top 25 of all UK universities. In The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019, Royal Holloway was placed at 24 in its UK universities rankings.
